We understand that your home is yours. Every detail of what you put in to it matters. It tells a story. The paint, the floors, the fixtures, and the furniture. Each of it tells a little bit about you. We believe you want more than the store bought, mass produced, generic furniture that clutters so many homes. You want a piece that is yours. A piece that tells a little more about your story. At The Mill Furniture we want to help tell your story.

Our Process:

  1. Take a look around. We have pieces in our furniture section that can be custom built to your specifications. If you see something you like click on the inquire button on the item page to get more information on that piece. If you have an idea for a piece that is not listed, we also do custom orders. Click on the custom order section and let us know what you’re looking for. Together, we can come up with a design that will suit your needs.

  2. Once a specific design has been decided upon, you will receive a price estimate for that piece. You will also be advised of the current lead time. Typical lead time is usually about 9-10 weeks. If you accept the price and wish to move forward you will be required to give a deposit (usually 20%) to secure your order.

  3. After receiving your deposit and the build has been started, we will keep you notified of its progress. We will send you pictures and updates along the way so you know what is going on.

  4. Once your custom piece is complete, you will be notified and will be asked to schedule a pick up date. Delivery is available to the greater Austin area for a fee (Usually $300). The remainder of your balance will be due upon pickup plus delivery fee if applicable.

  5. Love your new furniture. You can rest assured that your new piece will last for many years to come.
